Mr. Garton has over three decades of experience with grant writing, program and project management, and administration. He used his degrees in education (bachelors and masters from the University of Illinois) first to teach in public schools, and then to develop educational materials for computers. His professional work experience prior to consulting includes both university and small business employment, with assignments ranging from grantwriter to documentation & training to Director of Operations, with specialties in computer-based education, software development, computer security projects, and many others.

As a member of the TheGrantHelpers.com, he can put his experience to work in many different environments - generating funds, saving time, and lowering costs - without the obligations of long-term employment.

 

AFAlisyn Franzen

Ms. Franzen has an English and Secondary Education degree from the University of Illinois. Before working for TheGrantHelpers.com, she spent six years teaching reading, writing, literature, and journalism to high school students. She has also had experience working as a business service representative in the emergency room of a level-I trauma center. At TheGrantHelpers.com, Ms. Franzen is a main contributor of the company's blog articles and maintains the company's website.
