Hurricane Harvey is causing catastrophic and unprecedented damage and flooding in Texas. Harvey has caused at least 16 confirmed deaths and inland flooding is ongoing in the Greater Houston area. Preliminary estimates of economic losses range anywhere from $10 billion to $50 billion.
Hurricane Matthew was an unwanted guest along the east coast and in several islands over the weekend. Matthew hit Florida, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
